 WHAT'S
MY STORY?
Hi... Welcome to my
site! My name is Shelly Adams, I am 39 years old and am a mother
of three. I have one step-son and two biological children which
consist of two boys and recently, a new baby girl. There ages
range from 26, 17 and now an infant who is now 6 months old. I
married into motherhood at the age of 20. Boy, was that a tough
road just being out of High School. He is now all grown up and
turned into a fine young man!
My 17 year old is loving being a brand new big brother to his
new little sis! We had complications during pregnancy where she
was born 8 weeks pre-mature. On top of her prematurity and being
in the NICU for 7 weeks, she was diagnosed with Down Syndrome
upon birth. WOW! - was that a shock, we had no idea during
pregnancy and had a lot to absorb! She has been a real trooper
in her early history of life and a total JOY to have. She has
also been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease as well as
Pulmonary Hypertension on top of having Down Syndrome. She is
definitely a full time job!
This is why I have created this site to be able to stay home
with her.
